Timely
He walked into my office just as I was wrapping up for the day. My breath caught in my throat as I looked at him for the first time in 3 years. I couldn’t believe I was actually seeing him before me. The last time I had seen him, he had been wearing his gortex rain gear, walking away from me and our life. Today he was wearing a dark blue suit with a yellow tie. He was holding a briefcase in his left hand. As I glanced down at that hand, I noticed a glint of a wedding ring. My heart sank into my feet.
