After years of driving sports cars and motorcycles, reality finally caught up to my husband and I with the impending birth of our first child. Motorcycles were suddenly too dangerous; sports cars were much too impractical. What once seemed inconceivable was now inevitable. We were getting a family car. It turned out to be less painful than we anticipated, as we have been quite happy with our little Vauxhall Astra family sedan. Although it is not fast and flashy, it is cute and it is safe.
